On June 26-27, the Real4Reg Consortium held a hybrid consortium meeting at CSC – IT Center for Science in Helsinki, Finland. The opportunity to gather partners face-to-face strengthened bonds within the Consortium and facilitated the effective exchange of ideas.
The first day focused on reviewing the progress of work packages towards the end of the first Grant Period, which concluded at the end of June. This review was crucial in assessing achievements, identifying areas for improvement, and aligning efforts with the project’s objectives. The partners are looking forward to the path ahead, aiming to building on successes and tackling upcoming challenges.
The second day featured deep discussions on analysis-related topics in the morning. In the afternoon, François Hoyez from EURORDIS gave an invited talk titled: “Are real-world data a revolution in healthcare and healthcare research?”. The afternoon session also included discussions with the Advisory Board and invited participants from the MetReal cluster, whose guidance and strategic vision are helping Real4Reg navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
The insights and collaborative efforts shared during the meeting are expected to drive continued progress and innovation as the Real4Reg Consortium moves forward in its work.
