Real4Reg Project Holds Successful Consortium Meeting

The first Consortium meeting of the second year of the Real4Reg project took place virtually on February 27th. The meeting gathered elements from our ten partner institutions and was a productive morning filled with updates on progress, lessons learned, preliminary results and outlining forthcoming tasks.

Key highlights of the meeting included:

  • Report of WP 1-6 followed by group reflection & discussion: Each work package gave a short presentation that included preliminary results, and an outlook on current and upcoming tasks and challenges. Partners also sought valuable feedback from peers on various aspects of their work.
  • Revision of list of tasks accompanied by reflections on timelines and prioritization strategies. This exercise ensured alignment and clarity regarding project milestones and objectives.
  • Discussion surrounding an upcoming survey aimed at gathering insights into the requirements and perspectives on Real-World Evidence (RWE). Stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and regions will be invited to participate, including representatives from patient communities, industry sectors, payers, and experts in applied regulatory science.
  • Looking ahead, the Consortium eagerly anticipates its next meeting, scheduled to take place in June in Helsinki, at the CSC site. This upcoming gathering promises to further enrich collaboration and foster progress within the Real4Reg project and will involve also our esteemed Advisory Board members and partners from the MetReal cluster.
